My Biography
I grew up in Hazleton, Pennsyvlania in the 1950's. My husband, John, and I had an opportunity to move to the Poconos in the 1970's. I dreamed of living in a log home in the mountains - and that's where we've been ever since. Most people visit - I am blessed to live here.
I am a full time resident of Pocono Lake since 1978. I started selling real estate in 1978 with Gene Ruggieo. We became a part of the Century 21 System in 1979. I've been proudly wearing Gold ever since!
In 2002 the next step for my company was to merge with talented and successful brokers in Northeast Pa. I spearheaded a merger of 5 offices. As of 2012 we are 8 offices, 100+ agents and support staff; the largest real estate company in Northeast Pennsylvania.
I am proud to have been named Pocono Mountain Association of REALTORS "REALTOR of the Year" in 1994 for my efforts in our boards' community service activities. I've served as a Director for our Association of REALTORS. I currently sit on the board as a Director for our CENTURY 21 Brokers Council of Pennsylvania. I hold a Certified Residential Broker Manger Designation from NAR.
I have strong family ties to the area. My two grandsons live close by. We take full advanatage of the area we live in - boating at Lake Wallenpaupack, hiking with Otis, our chocolate lab, fishing in Brady's Lake, hiking in places like Boulder Field at Hickory Run State Park, Pinchot Trail, and just taking advantage of all the great things everyone enjoys in the Poconos. Here are the boys and Otis, our Lab, at a cold stream at Brady's Lake - 25,000 acre state games lands out my back door.
